Al-Qadisiyah Pack is an agricultural film manufacturer in 6th of October City, Egypt, producing polyethylene film since 1998. Our agricultural grades run from 15 to 200 microns and are supplied with the additive packages each crop and season needs — anti-UV, light diffusion, IR reflection or absorption, anti-fog, anti-drip and EVA.
Thickness is not a quality rating. It sets how long the cover survives on the structure and how much mechanical stress it takes; light transmission and the heat held in the house are governed by the additives, not by the micron. So the right specification is a pair: the gauge for the intended service life, and the additive set for the crop.
The table below is what we actually extrude, by film, so you can match it against your own season and structure before asking anyone for a price.
Films by crop and use
| Film | Thicknesses | Available properties |
|---|---|---|
| Grapevine cover film | 80 · 100 · 120 · 150µ | Light diffuser, IR reflector, IR absorber, anti-fog, anti-drip, EVA |
| Banana bunch covers | 25 · 30 · 50 · 100µ | UV protection |
| Mulch film | 15 · 20 · 25 · 30 · 50 · 100µ | Anti-UV, light diffuser, IR reflector, IR absorber |
| Low tunnel film | 20 · 25 · 30 · 35 · 50 · 55µ | Anti-UV, IR reflector, IR absorber, anti-fog, anti-mist, EVA |
| Solarization film | 30 · 40µ | Anti-UV, light diffuser, IR reflector, IR absorber |
| Silage film | 80 · 100 · 120 · 150 · 180 · 200µ | Anti-UV, light diffuser, IR reflector, IR absorber |
What the additives do
Anti-UV sets how many seasons the cover survives Egyptian sun before it embrittles. Light diffusion spreads incoming light through the house, reducing hard shade and leaf scorch. IR reflection and IR absorption change how much heat the house holds overnight, which matters in winter production. Anti-fog and anti-drip stop condensation forming a film or falling onto the crop as droplets. EVA raises clarity and flexibility where a tougher, more transparent cover is wanted. Other thicknesses and colours are produced on request.
Certifications
We hold ISO 9001 for quality management, ISO 14001 for environmental management and ISO 45001 for occupational health and safety, together with the Global Recycled Standard. A certificate covers named products and production lines rather than a whole factory, so ask for the scope in writing.

Frequently asked questions
- What thickness of greenhouse film should I choose?
- Thickness sets the cover's service life and mechanical strength, not its quality. Agricultural grades run 15 to 200 microns: lighter gauges suit a single short season or low tunnels, mid gauges suit an extended season on a fixed structure, and heavier gauges suit multi-season cover or sites exposed to strong wind.
- Which agricultural films do you supply?
- Grapevine cover film, banana bunch covers, mulch film, low tunnel film, solarization film and silage film. Each is available with the additive package suited to its crop and season, and other thicknesses and colours are produced on request.
- What is solarization film used for?
- It is a transparent film laid over soil between growing seasons so sunlight sterilises the ground beneath it. We produce it in 30 and 40 microns with anti-UV, light diffusion and IR properties.
- Do you make mulch film, and in what thicknesses?
- Yes, from 15 to 100 microns. Mulch film holds soil moisture, suppresses weeds in the crop row and retains the residual effect of fertilisers and pesticides. It is available with anti-UV, light diffusing and IR reflecting or absorbing properties.
